This blended learning Instructor recertification course is the required course for all Lifeguarding Instructors to re-certify. During this course Lifeguarding Instructors and Instructor Trainers will participate in an in-water practice and polish skills session and practice teaching in addition to a classroom-based review of Red Cross administrative policies and procedures.
Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation & Waitlist Policies Registration & Booking Enrollment in the Lifeguard Instructor Course is first come, first served and confirmed only upon full payment. Class size is limited to meet American Red Cross program requirements. Participants are responsible for meeting all American Red Cross prerequisites and attending all scheduled sessions. Cancellation & Refunds All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are based on the date the request is received: More than 14 days before course start: 85% refund 7–14 days before course start: 50% refund Less than 7 days before course start: No refund Within 24 hours of start time or no-shows: No refund Processing and administrative fees are non-refundable. Transfers Registration transfers require prior written approval and must be requested at least 7 days before the course start date. All transfers are subject to eligibility and availability. Waitlist If the course is full, participants may request placement on a waitlist. Waitlisted individuals will be contacted in order as space becomes available and have 24 hours to confirm and submit payment. Standard cancellation and refund policies apply once enrolled.
